This is why I was so reluctant to design Rainbow Dash's dress before. It's so hard to not make it look tacky.

You really captured the spirit of the characters! RD and AJ look just right, RD looking tomboyish and brash but not without a certain elegance and AJ with a natural, plucky pose. And don't get me started on Celestia! Usually Celestia is drawn too animé, young, or girly for my liking, but this Celestia is regal and womanly.
