Description

Yes. I'm just that sad.

And I know Carlin doesn't look anything like a respectable champion, but whatevz.

Tuuli - means 'wind' in Finnish

Wazzer - sounds buggy

Carlin - means 'little champion'

Vesta - Roman goddess of the hearth
She's Nina's grandmother.

Hemlock - name of a poisonous plant

Pokemon (c) - Pokemon people
These characters (c) - me

First, I'd like to say that I love this picture as a whole! The contrast in colors, the different styles, and all the intricate details. Beautiful!

Tuuli - My favorite and the only one that I wouldn't alter in the slightest. I love her wing-shaped pigtails(flying pigtails?) and her style. I get a classy 1920's vibe from her outfit. 10/10

Wazzer - My first thought was that I dislike the name, my second was that it sounded like something gross, and my third thought was literally: "Hey, gross is perfect for a Bug user! Never mind." My thoughts on his clothing were pretty similar. I wouldn't wear any of that stuff and would probably avoid any one who did, but on him it all seems to work. Especially, the low-riding shorts. Ugh, I hate it when a person's underwear is hanging out. But, Wazzer makes it look...cute. Somehow. Ugh.

Carlin - I have mixed feelings about that hair. Normally I'm a fan of symmetry and hair of different lengths is a pet peeve, especially such a big length difference. I'm probably the only one in the world who hates Cynthia's hair(LOVE her coat though). But, I like both the way the shorter hair is fanning-out and the way the longer hair is flowing. So, I'm willing to let this one be an exception like Yuna of Final Fantasy X/X-2. I do think you should change the color of her gloves, though, to either black or blue - black preferred - the white just looks odd to me. And don't worry about her looking respectable, and mean Alder is canon.

Vesta - I'm thinking that you took more from the Romans than just the name for this character. I like it! Some part of me says that she witnessed the destruction of Pompeii as a young girl before Celebi(or Dialga) pulled her forward in time. Old enough to remember her time but young enough to adapt to ours(Theirs? Yours?). I would let her hair down. That's it, lol! I just think that she should show a little of her (obvious) inner fire on the outside.

Hermlock - Love the name. Love the hair. Love the shirt: color and pattern. Love the little designs on the bottom of his coat and pants. Hate the color of his suit. Wait! What?! Yes, unfortunately it's true. The first thing i praised about this work of art was the contrast in color, but his suit looks like it was cut from the same cloth as Vesta's dress. And. It's. Too. Bright. Vesta's red cloak reins in dress, but Hemlock's suit has nothing holding it back. Might I suggest a nice burgundy or an earthy brown.

Well, that's my two cents. Once again, outstanding work!
